Howdy!

I'm Chayse, the creative mind behind Frontera Silver.

I'm madly in love with this beautiful life I'm living.
I found metalsmithing, or rather metalsmithing found me back in 2015 when I was living in central Mexico. Once my eyes fell upon silver, stones, and flames of Sterling Quest's metal shop, there was no turning back for me. It was love at first sight!
My mission as an artist and metalsmith is to create wearable works of art that empower and inspire the wearer, as well as to connect them with the Earth, from which all of my creations are made. I create pieces that connect the wearer to a sacred place, a plant, or to a story. From wedding rings, to bolo ties all the sterling silver is recycled and the stones are ethically sourced.
My husband Cliff now cuts most of the beautiful stones I work with and my pup Finn spends most days with me in my studio soldering and in the wild soaking up inspiration. We live in beautiful Southwest Colorado and spend most of our weekends, when we are in the area, at our shop in Downtown Durango!
